Dover and New Philadelphia, Ohio
We serve Tuscarawas County homeowners by transforming their kitchens, bathrooms and basements through a remodeling experience built on uncommon care and craftsmanship, clear communication and integrity.
What we remodel
We take on the whole project: design, planning, demolition, plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry and the final walkthrough. Planning work in more than one room? We can plan it as one project, with one schedule and one written quote.

A bathroom that fits how you live now, from the shower to the storage. A standard bathroom takes 1 to 3 weeks once work starts.
Starting at $20,000

A kitchen that works the way you cook and gather. A standard kitchen takes 1 to 4 weeks.

Kitchen remodeling in Dover →Older homes, honest expectations
Every house here has a history behind the drywall. We look for it during the on-site assessment and build it into your written quote where we can. If something no one could have predicted turns up once walls are open, we'll show you, explain your options and agree on the plan with you before work changes.
Older houses often have outdated plumbing and wiring behind the walls. We check for both during the on-site assessment and price the likely fixes before demo.
We check for water and then give a recommendation based on what we find.
Settled floors and out-of-square framing change how tile and cabinets go in. We measure first and plan around what is actually there.

How it works
Tell us about the project, the town and when you'd like to start. Add anything else in the notes, and we will contact you within the next business day.
A conversation about why you're doing this project, who else is part of it and how you want the space to feel. We'll end with an investment range.
If it looks like a good fit, we visit for a paid on-site assessment. You get a written quote with a detailed scope of work, the materials and one fixed investment for that scope.
When you're ready, a deposit puts you on the schedule. The second payment is due when work starts, and the final invoice when it's complete.
A clear schedule, notice before each stage and a prompt heads-up if anything changes. You'll have access to daily logs with check-ins from the work site. Your project is backed by our two-year workmanship warranty and 3-3-3 follow-up.
What you can count on
If a past project left you frustrated, that's understandable. Here's how we work instead.
On the first call, we talk through scope, finishes and a ballpark range, so you know roughly what to expect before anyone visits.
Your written quote spells out the materials and each step of the work, with one fixed investment for that scope, so you know what's included before anything is torn out.
Remodeling is messy. Your home shouldn't stay that way. We protect floors, contain dust and clean up before we leave each workday.
We check in 3 days, 3 weeks and 3 months after your project wraps up, to make sure everything still works the way you wanted.
From homeowners
“Austin the owner of River Green Remodeling just finished tearing our bathroom down to the studs including the ceiling. He replaced the bathtub with a walk in shower that I had requested because my wife and I am getting up in ages and she has been suffering from arthritis issues which makes climbing in and out of the bathtub painful. Austin was doing some updates on my neighbors house and I ask him to give me a estimate for my bathroom. My neighbors told me that Austin did a outstanding job for them and that Austin was very knowledgeable about the work he was doing and he was extremely polite and respectful and that he cleaned up every time he had finished for me day. After he was finished with the Remodeling of my bathroom I am happy to say that everything that they said about Austin was one hundred 💯 percent true. I would recommend Austin/ River Green to anyone including my friends and my family. Thank you Austin for a wonderful job.”

Where we work
Our home base, on the Tuscarawas River. The Warther Museum is here, with Ernest "Mooney" Warther's hand-carved working steam locomotive models.
Right next door, and the county seat. Its streets were laid out on the plan of Philadelphia, and Schoenbrunn Village, where Ohio's first civil code was drawn up in 1772, sits just southeast of town.
Gold: home base. Green: towns where we've finished projects.

Every project is different, so we don't publish a single number. After a short conversation about your project, we can often give you a ballpark range. If it's a good fit, the on-site assessment ends with a written quote and a fixed investment for the scope it describes.
The phone call is free. If it looks like a good fit, the on-site assessment is a paid consultation. You leave it with a written quote detailing scope, finishes and materials.
